Granite Falls Business and Professional Women's Club

Networking, Mentoring, and Leadership Training

BPW/Granite Falls is aligned with other BPW clubs through a State Federation. The North Carolina Federation of Business and Professional Women's Clubs, Inc. (now known as BPW/NC) began when a small group of business and professional women from Asheville, Charlotte, Greensboro, Raleigh, Salisbury, and Winston-Salem met in Charlotte on June 24-25, 1919 to organize a state federation in preparation for a national organization. A person may join and pay dues for BPW-NC as a member at large, without affiliation to a Local Club if they are located more than 50 miles from the closest local club. BPW/NC sponsors the following programs: Individual Development Program State Career Woman ProgramYoung Careerist ProgramWomen Joining Forces ProgramReality Store ProgramIn 1987, BPW/NC established a foundation to promote the general advancement of workingwomen in North Carolina.
